The Light of Truth

There are times when it is easier not to take a stand, when it is difficult to confront someone, or when we would rather ignore a situation rather than meet it head-on.  But what is the cost of such a choice.  This was the question I brought to my journaling practice.  Here is the answer that came:

“Be Light filled.  Expose the darkness wherever it manifests.  Use your voice; state your position but do not let it come from anger.  Rather, let if come from love and be delivered in strength.  Do not be afraid to say what is true.  Truth will always feed the Light.  When you choose not to speak up, you allow darkness to prevail.  Know that what you choose not to say can be as powerful as what you do say.”

This is how we learn to walk in integrity. Dr. Stephen Isaac wrote, "When you possess integrity in even the smallest measure you begin to be true to your real selves and others. Without this quality, you can be true to no one, least of all God."
