Solar Annointing - Soulic Awareness

In our Wisdom class this week we read, “Instruct yourselves to keep on measuring the hours with valued use, making every word, every act and motive conscious and bathed by Solar anointing.”

Flower went on to share that this term “Solar anointing” means that work should be brought to the soul’s attention and given permission and be anointed. A brief discussion arose on how we might best lift things in this way to the awareness of our soul.

One suggested that a good way to do this is to ask questions. This invites a response. As we strive to become even more aware of our soulic vehicles, what ways have you found helpful to do so? How do you bring things into your soul’s attention?

What Do You Desire?

How creatively do you seek God?  We are asked to maintain an active awareness of God in all we do.  But we cannot see what we are not looking for so it is necessary to keep God in the forefront of our consciousness.  We place our focus on what we desire most.  Therefore, when you find your focus has shifted, ask yourself what is holding your attention in the world.  We must learn to desire God above all else.  Then our attention will naturally shift and we will seek God wherever we are.  We do not need to set out to achieve spiritual consciousness rather we must learn to love God more.  Our love and devotion are the keys which open the shutters of our awareness to discovering God newly.  In what unexpected ways has God revealed himself to you?
